add, another reason vlnc does not go up is that there has been somebody absorbing fairly strong demand which has come up in the last 30 minutes each of the last 2 trading days at least. not that large a volume but I've seen a lot of trades (20-30k shares or more) go in a flurry at the ask without moving the ask. Paul mentioned this - it does strongly appear that someone is capping the stock at these levels. The waters are deeper than just random trading patterns in a thinly traded stock.
