Thanks a pile DIAMOND for sharing your personal experience. It is a refreshing change from all those armchair "doom and gloom" naysayers who have no holdings in AOL but just come on here with a hidden agenda of promoting services such as MSN.

I agree.

- Alta Vista does not work.

- NetZero is too slow.

- Prodigy is intermittent. Their mail server has a lot of problems. I am also very fed up with Prodigy.

I would consider using AOL if I don't have to download special software to do so. Could I get an AOL account without that AOL 4.0 crap? Also, does any one notice AOL tends to lose e-mail messages?
