JR and BM. Have a look at this Press Release from BCE Emergis

biz.yahoo.com

and answer this question:

Since IFM is offering e-comm services in the Financial & Insurance industry, do you think that this company will be merged or sold to CGI one day?

IFM will move away from the consumer e-comm business and concentrate on the Busines-to-Business e-comm. This PR makes it even more obvious of the vertical market it's aiming for being the same as CGI. And CGI does not have any e-comm division at this moment.

CGI has the reputation of always buying companies with a positive bottom-line. IFM still does not show a net profit yet. But that will soon come after rationalizing their operations and focusing on their core business, which seems to be converging with CGI's core business!

Why didn't CGI acquire those companies? Cause they couldn't! They are not strong on e-comm yet. They sent the business to their next target (somewhere in the year 2001, giving it time to show profits). Ultimately, they'll get that business! By them, IFM will probably have around $300M in revenues. BCE seems to be positioning IFM chips for CGI.

Just a thought!

What do you guys think?
