yet, in the face of what we were dealing with on a daily basis here, i suppose standing up to it might have appeared as such...

the company might have been a win situation, but this thread never stood a chance...

can you appreciate the difference...?

One could hope - but certainly not expect - that one of these days people will realize that the stock market is not a football game: no amount of cheering, or demonizing the opposing team will in the long run in any way effect the outcome of the underlying security's price appreciation - that's management's job.
