The Stinger does not use any Aware IP but Nokia leaving ADI/AWRE? That is not what I hear at all, you need to provide more info than that.

Also, ST Micro is a licensee of Aware and from what I understand they are moving away from Alcatel because they will produce their own chips but they need Aware's G.Lite IP.

Covad and Globespan? Covad uses ADI/Aware DMT chips from Nokia/Diamond Lane, not Globespan.

Did you hear anything from Cisco at the show? Their new NetSpeed products are all based on ADI/Aware DMT chips, I believe they are using the new AD20msp930 chip.

As I have heard serveral people say, ADI and Alcatel are actually shipping multimode chips, while others are only shipping press releases.
