First tried real hard to laugh at dealing with it, then trying to find a silver lining gave the idea for product testing, Joe - might as well try to find a silver lining. So many folks Back East are horrified of Western earthquakes (yeah don't say it) yet these hurricaines and tornadoes and blizzards are the same level of scary as those. Trying not to be in the wrong place at the wrong time is the secret to survival no matter where no matter what. Can't find a square foot on this planet where nature and people are always benign ain't it the truth.
Speaking of silver linings, truly do have a hunch about a promotion coming 4U, first your loyalty's been tested U stuck around, then you were noticed & That I know for sure without having been there; sounds like a big re-shuffling around there, so their next logical move after training lookies would be...WHAT? DoubleplusgoodWhynotwhaddayagot2lose hasten progress by insightful questions for Bigs U know U might manage to bump into or call B4 they forget yer face as if that's likely(with next logical move preventives & suggestions inherent unspoken hidden like gems inside - as U know how 2 put things so well - lettem take the credit 4it then they owe U and know who to tap for implementation)- Madame Ruth saw this All This Happening 4U in Her Crystal Ball, don't blame me ;o)
Joe, sure would love to hear your opinion on the WSJ Special Report, but can't say for sure if "Telecommunications: Internet Cuts The Cord" is in the paper WSJ today, hope so. It's on wsj.com edition online but a paid subscription is necessary for access... recommending it as a bargain especially as Barrons and Money online are included, plus good stocktools search email alerts special techstuff dailynews forums other good stuff etc....costs 50+ bucks a year worth its weight in gold (well OK it weighs nothing LOL) w/ no recycling newspaper & much cheaper than paper subscription or buying it on the newsstand. Can read it every day and Barrons and updates on the weekend. Generates no paper except for articles printed from it and the occasional WSJ or Barrons paper bought to put all the tickers under the microscope looking for spinoffs etc. (not possible anywhere online as far as I know). There are Co. announcements like spinoffs too, but difficult to keep up with that everyday & probably incomplete when some Co.'s like to hide 'em as ipos or warrants or when-issueds (wi) anyway, you know what I mean for that ya need the paper Barrons still no way around that DD chore.
Am looking to buy more shares of CNXT around the split; yep I quacked 'em too early cautious to blast the 4-bagger. I know what you mean, hating to buy it at a high... the question is, will it go up more before the Split in early October or will there be profit taking coming soon, especially by how many institutions have it who don't want splits on their books? If it continues to behave like LU did then the Early Bird will catch the worm On First CNXT Split Payday however she goes...Bangzoom Back ToDa Moon Alice she'll go. Our GNET, well yeah she's becalmed right now and we'll have to wait patiently for the wind to fill her sails again as we know it will. Maybe even soon like maybe publicity around the Chancellor ipo time.
In my stocks, looky there's some nice action in LCOS and (sorry sandintoes it just ain't fair) YHOO in particular. Might quack LCOS, gotta look into it further first see if there's more momo room to grow. YHOO isn't up enough yet to quack it. BNBN is step by step inch by inch, so's PVTL and MSGI.
Short on powder again just watching same olds for quacks.

Joanie
