K,
Did a little research.

119 West Satellite setting. Azimuth 248 degrees Elevation 26 degrees

61.5 West Satellite Azimuth 171 degrees Elevation 41 degrees.

Doing an eyeball on the direction without a compass the 61.5 satellite may be out of the question. Slight rise in ground plus some large tall oaks.

The 119 west satellite does look possible if 26 degrees is taken from the top of the house.

Could you ask Mr. K a question for me. Does elevation from sea level reduce the elevation angle to the satellite? I not setting on the Rocky Mountains, but I think elevation may be a factor here. I'll have to find out what the elevation is for this mole hill they call a mountain.

Please also ask how important it is to clear snow and ice from the dish. I won't be able to reach the dish for cleaning on the roof. It is three stories up from the back of the house and two stories from the front.

Thank you,
NW
