I wonder if there are any contractural restrictions which may limit WIND from promoting some type of "WIND Inside" logo?

As investors, we really should not have to be second guessing every announcement out there. Why can't they just come out with a simple PR?

I don't know but David Lehenky posted something about Firewire awhile back: Post#2459.

I guess David went to SUNW. Maybe that's why we haven't heard from him since. Is there an industry ban on posting to SI?

Best Luck--Peter

The release says the boxes use Aperios.

Aperios (I have commented on it before on this thread) keeps popping up whenever Sony does some new stuff. Unfortunately Sony is trying to reinvent the wheel, when they could just go out and buy VxWorks.

Anyway, Aperios usage inside Sony is EXTREMELY limited. Most of the groups use other commercial off the shelf RTOSs.
