You're certainly entitled to your beliefs. You're even free to try to impose them on others via the elective process, public debate, whatever means are legal and available, if that's what you want to do. This is a democracy and every vote counts. What I don't understand is why it bothers you when people say you are trying to impose your beliefs on others. That's what the political process is all about, isn't it? You want to change the legal system so that it is more in conformity with your beliefs? What's so terrible about that?
