bda... from rambus: denise in investor relations spoke with my favorite merrill lynch broker. 18% of rmbs licensees have taiwan facilities. rmbs thinks these players products may be delayed up to two weeks. max impact estimated at $0.01 per share for the q. zero impact is a possibility. unclewest thanks denise!

Uncle Do you agree if I say that Sony is slightly changing its business model around 1 product the PSII. Then will distribute their films, their games, their music and now softwares (I didn't know Sony did software !) all throught PSII... The fact that Microsoft and Intel work on such console clearly indicates that this will be a HUGE market. The main interest I see in a console is that even people not interested in buying a computer will buy a PSII or similar. Monsieur Tout Le Monde is interested in games and Internet for the kids. He's convinced that Internet is required for their studies, that's all Excel and Word and PowerPoint are useless for him. PSII uses RDRAM, Nintendo will (I believe), Sega ?, Microsoft probably throught Intel... bref the world will use Rambus...
