<now we know what Gary mean't by waiting for some developments>

Quite obviously you weren't at the shareholder's meeting when this was discussed because you have it completely wrong. It's either that, or you have bad information, or you are trying to mislead others in a devious manner (fraud).

The issues surrounding Watson and Smith-Kline will probably be settled before GumTech and their joint venture begin selling nicotine cessation gum in the US. This issue isn't material to GumTech, although it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

BTW, speaking of the nicotine cessation market, I came across an interesting article that says:

In addition, sales of smoking cessation therapies will help propel the market to nearly $1.5 billion by 2007, the organization said.

wellnessjunction.com

How much of that $1.5 billion market do you think GumTech and their joint venture partner will get?

On another, but related topic..

Is it possible that GumTech and their partner might market nicotine gum as an alternative to smoking? Read this article: gatewayva.com

Nicotine has no other societal impact apart from the much-belabored problems caused by smoking itself. Why not make it available in other forms?

It seems that the health problems associated with smoking are caused by tobacco and smoke inhalation, not nicotine. It is also evident that most people smoke because they like the effect of nicotine. Hmm, could nicotine gum (not cessation) be a huge opportunity for GumTech? Just how big is the smoking market anyway? Wow, I think we are on to something here...
