That's your answer? Nevermind.... I thought you were going to explain the difference between "next-generation routers" and Cisco's IOS based routers such as the 12000. Clearly there is no difference and in fact the M40 has less functionality than the GSR. So, back to our original discussion - JNPR has, as most analysts have already stated something less that 5% market share. Yes, they may grow it, but as i pointed out weeks ago.. if JNPR woke up tomorrow and owned half the core router market and 20% of the enterprise router market their total revenues for the next 5 years would not equate to today's market cap.
