Bernard, what is the "LOS" line of sight on a sphere?

Yes, MMDS vs LMDS. It's a while since I've read opinions here. In a way, this has been a question of getting the FCC go ahead to deploy. MMDS was stuck on one way for a long time. Now, they seem to have approvals to do 2 way.

So, with larger cells, cheaper equipment, and less stringent line of sight requirements, why should LMDS be a better, or at least, widely deployed standard?

Mark
