TLC, There you are. I've been up in the wilderness looking for you. You can see really well at 10 or 11 thousand feet. From where you and SHORTY were, could you see that NASA Mars probe do a Peter Pan into the red planet? oposite.stsci.edu
You and cOUSIN SHORTY really had us worried and I hope what ever knocked you out of this universe, doesn't happen again.
your friend, BLUE

Hi TLC, #reply-11428227 is history of why '50 Merc links from DD are here & the GTO's are on Techride instead of yonder for continuation of original custom car discussion.
(history cont'd.) Was looking thru classic 50's car links for The James Dean Car with the custom narrower extremed windshield to show you. Hard to find anyway, & still haven't found a proper black one. Been digging one parked up on the highway with sleeked off makers marks (so couldn't get the make/model) to chop it, wish I had a digital camera to show it 2U. It's black primer with flames on it now & soon to be a charcoal black baked 7-layer job - perfect! It's got a 6-inch windshield-lowered the whole top, hanging dice from mirror very important, monster grill sculpture, correct hubs and blackwall (not gangsta wall as though it were a Crown Victoria which would have been a mistake) tires...restoration is still unfinished and it looks & runs (sounds!) great. Didn't see it in car sites online, so when i called the shop to ask what's the year/make the owner confirmed "1950 Mercury, The James Dean Car from Rebel Without A Cause". He said it Made His Day getting compliments on it (except he did something un-classic to the fins to take it out of its early 50s era makes it look too batmobilish IMHO which I personally wouldn't have done to it so of course i didn't mention the fins). Otherwise it's flawless to theme.
So 4U TLC here's a James Dean Car i meant, the '50 Merc....
