Most of the people prefer the media to "edit"the news for them and take out the worry..... tell them what they should think.. In my opinion, the reason we have all this Y2K hysteria is that the media jumped on this sensationalistic story in the first place, and many people believed this nonsense. The doomers have believed this "edited" material without understanding the underlying computer issues which are not complex and easily fixed. There have been no significant Y2K problems to date, and now the media is being accused of "editing" the news to hide the "facts". LOL
