Well, your question is not an easy one, at least not for me. I will give you my understanding of the subject, and you are welcome to agree or disagree w/it.
Historically speaking, ALL humans, of every religion that we know of existed in history, have one very interesting, and rather amusing, characteristic. They always represent, when in human form, their god or gods in their own image. It's very natural for you to want to deal w/a god that looks at least remotely like you. Some go so far as to say their gods act like them too (greeks, and even some more 'modern' religions). In every instance known to man, gods dress, speak the language of, and have the natural features of those worshipping them.
Now as a firm believer in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, (and now I'm being careful, because as far as I know I may be the first catholic someone meets, and I'll feebly try to represent us) all the apparitions and visions that the church has recognized to date, and even some which it has not recognized, have included, when showing any "human" forms, the interesting fact that they ALWAYS look like the person who is having the apparition. Just go on down to the local art museum, and you'll see Jesus in spanish medieval clothing and armor, in a south american skin tones, in nordic blue eyes (and even blond hair), in african clothing and looks, and even in shakespearian garb.
(Sorry this post is so long, but I feel obliged to make it clear.)
So as for the original question, if you are still here, yes, Jesus is black, and white, and latin-american, and middle-eastern, and asian, and green, and purple, and blue, and ... I think you get the point. I do hope you understand that I am not insulting you on purpose, it's just that I thought of a song in Spanish that I used to know when I was little... anyway, there's your answer, or as far as I can take you on the road that takes you to it. BTW, thank you for the memories you and your question gave me. J-14

Any image we create of Jesus is at best from our own thoughts. It would probably well serve us to look back at history of the times and people and to remember that Jesus would have looked physically just as the Jewish race he was born into. But spiritually, I am glad that we will become "as He is" and not the other way around.

><>...Good morning Jon...><>

I'm not sure where the image came from that Jews are not light, even white skinned ever came from.
Next time you see a televised report from Israel take a closer look at some of Israel's people. They are very white, many are blond haired, and blue eyed.
Remember Mr. Netanyahu? Peron? Menachem Begin? David-Ben Gurion? Golda Meir? And of Mr. Rabin.

Also consider:
Dr, Albert Sweitzer
Dr. Albert Einstein
Senator Jacob Javitz
Senator Metzenbaum
Senator Feinstein
Mr. Dershowitz World reknown Harvard educated Attorney and author.
Stephen Spielberg
And the list goes on.

The Israelites were made up of 12 tribes of people of which Judah (Jews) are but a part thereof.

Hopes this helps.

Have a good day
Shalom...><>
BTW You asked:
Did Moses part the Red Sea?
Ans. No, God did! Praise His Holy name!!

RE>>Was Jesus Black?<<

No he was the color of JEWS... Kinsmen Redeemer !!

The bigger question is ...

Was Adam Black ????

I think he was... He lived in Paradise,

Did you know that Certain Jews were captured and taken to Ethiopia and they all turned Black even though they did NOT intermarry with a 1000 years.

Cool eh but very true !!!
