Hildebrando Pascoal a first term congressman is accused of the chain saw mutilation of Agilson Firmino, who worked for a man suspected of killing Pascoal's brother. Firmino's son, was killed 48 hours later in an acid bath. Well, legislators are protected from prosecution by legislation in Brazil so don't expect to see this in court. "Eliminating immunity presumes a higher level of politics, and that ignores the reality of Brazil" says a political analyst.
