Dear opalapril: I think you may be mistaken about COSTCO and its effects on the mom and pop stores. I shop at COSTCO at least 3 times a week. I have a commercial card meaning I get in an hour earlier than the masses. I can tell you its the MOM AND POP shops who are buying all their merchandise at COSTCO. Also, for the most part the Mom and Pop shops are not threatened IMHO by COSTCO because they are first convient purchases and secondly many of their customers would not be eligible to shop at COSTCO to begin with plus at COSTCO you must buy fairly large quantities of everything especially in the grocery portion.
