Hello, Richard, Yes, I saw that Bill's 3-some had received their non-profit status notification. However, Richard, in all candor, that was only one of the 11 questions bill has ever answered. Getting Non-profit status and keeping it are two different things. And keeping it depends upon immaculate record books. I didn't understand why you believe GATA getting their N/P award letter gives Bill some kind of clean bill of health. I never will forget the time an organization that I knew was shady from the beginning just by the way the principal fundraiser operated, got their non-profit status yanked here about 4 years ago. All their 'donor base' was notified that their donations were subsequently disallowed. Talk about a yeowl from the patrons!!! Man, that was one giant stinko because of the IRS notifying them their charitable donations were disallowed and they had to file multiple years amended returns! Do you want me to dig up the other 10 unanswered questions or will a URL do? RE: pay to pan. Do you have any websites for those pay to pan places? How about your 'family operation' site. Do THEY have a website? Do you know of any other COMMERCIAL outfit willing to sell shares in a trommel run like the Valentines are doing? Would love to visit those websites for ideas. I howled with delight about those casino construction outfits jarring lose the gold for the benefit of entrepreneurs down below! Yes, I'm familiar with Cripple Creek. One of my dreams has been to visit that SW corner of Colorado with goldpan in hand. Guess now I don't have to, eh?<grin> I know everyone is hoping for a nugget in their gold bottle when this thing gets cleaned up after each trommel run. The nationl gold panners association that I belong to usually only gives you a teaspoon full of black sand in a teensy zip-lock baggie for each person who hand digs 4 hours at a time, for 3 or 5 consecutive days. That 'lesson' cost me $175 bucks per person in my family for the "3 day experience." To say I was pi**ed would be an understatement. What did you mean in your last line where you typed: "working the short side." The short side of what???
