CB -- Good. Good. Good. I don't object to you inventing what's in YOUR head -- I object to you inventing what's in MY head.

Don't know how you equate my mention of my brother, who lives in McLean, with his working at Langley. I may have mentioned spending a lot of time in DC and knowing where Langley was. Big leaps for you. Who cares about being perceptive -- I've found paranoia far more useful.

Thanks for confirming that you were referring to me as the "anti-feminist," What's your foundation, counselor?

X & O rejection. Whew.....dodged another bullet!

CB, I don't do cyberhugs. Period. Joan's a grown woman who can give as good as she gets. She may appreciate your support, but, she doesn't need it. I hope we hear from Joan soon.....I think she is a formidable person.....even if we develop a friendship, I suspect there is more than one bitter disagreement ahead of us. I think I may like her quite a bit. In any case, it's not up to YOU whether Joan and I love or hate one another.

Probation?

Do I like barbeque? Oh, ****. Is that a trick question, a straight question or some kind of friendly overture?

OK, I'll go "straight." I like food. I spent 3 1/2 hrs today with the architect talking about nothing but indoor and outdoor cooking designs.

I'll argue about anything but I don't want to have a personal fight, CB. If you don't like me, please just leave me out of your observations.

Hope this turns out better than seems likely.

MM (My new personal "pet name" that Joan gave me)
