Joel, there's nothing you need to do. And you can set up several portfolios, i.s. one for your retirement accts, one for brokerage, one watch list, etc. YAHOO portfolio is good for a quick glance, you can't put in options, and it doesn't do much calculating for you. You do have a fairly wide range of choices as to what you want to include and how you want it to look on your page. If you set it up as your default homepage it's a great way to have a quick assessment of the market and what's expected at the open. They also allow JAVA but I don't find it that much more useful. I believe you get there by going to YAHOO finance first, and then perhaps, to "quotes"? I can't recall exactly but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Joel,

<< set up your portfolio on Yahoo >>

Yahoo's good. I do same with Microsoft Investor (linked to my brokerage accounts) which has made it's premium $9.95 services no charge. It is Very Good. Another alternative is the "New SI" (go2net) which is a bit rough yet from the sound of comments from the beta folks. Lots of choices these days.

<<<WHO'S BETTER?
For the moment, the B2B market is overcome with glee. Calico Commerce (Nasdaq: CLIC), a hot B2B software company, is on deck for a monster IPO, underwritten by Goldman Sachs.>>>

Calico IPOs next week, one of the original GG stocks to watch.
