Check out these comments from Steve Harmon on RHAT "Back on the more established company, Red Hat. Based on its results for the
first six months of this year I am backing down my revenue estimates for RHAT to $20 million for 1999. That puts the revenue multiple at 370x this year's estimated revenue.

370x revenue multiple. For a company in the network software OS with about 9% marketshare. I would discount that 9% share and say if on its absolute best day in some future nirvanaland that could represent significant revenue opportunities -- opportunities but not yet realized -- and I still cannot agree a $6.75 billion value is a proper one for Red Hat."
