Mark,can I ask how to erase my cache in Netscape 4.5?
My old putter had Netscape 3.0 and it was under preferences.Can't find it in 4.5

Sorry I was so unclear but it's hard to ask something that I don't even understand myself!! Doug was so kind to explain scandisk and defrag on the thread to me (thanks again Doug!!).

I still don't understand how to "clear memory cache." Is it the same as deleting temporary internet files (I know how to do that!)? FYI, I am using windows '98 1st edition (2nd edition should be arriving soon) and IE5.
