The problem with creationism is that it is based on faith, and the vast majority of the atheistic evolutionists want to convince those with faith that they are wrong. Why is it so important to them? I don't know, maybe they're just upset that we who believe have something to reassure and support us beyond life. Maybe they view people who believe as the last vestige that would say they're wrong and their egos just won't allow that, they HAVE to be right as a matter of principle for them.
What I find most amusing in these arguments is that evolution is being taken on faith, as well. "Well I read that they found these bones, so it's gotta be true!" Why? Mistakes are made in scientific discovery and research all the time, why would the field of evolution be any different? But because there's something physical, it makes them feel better. It can be perceived by human senses and therefore is good. Any loose linked theory will do because here is something solid, physical.
