Nulldog:"Atheistic evolutionists and Creationism:.

Why are atheistic evolutionists upset?

Many reasons:

-It takes a long time and effort to rally try and learn a lot. Not many want to do that.

-It is only after you have tried to learn everything
you can realize how very ignorant you are .

-at that point you have to be humble and contrite that
you rained needlessly on so many people for not
having previously agreed with you:
Few people are willing to be humble and contrite at that point.

- very important is that they are intollerant of people with faith. They can't see how anybody can believe without proof.

--also religious thoughts are hard to follow, don't this
and don't that. Many folks just want to go ahead and do whatever they want.
This is why Russia and communism outlawed Christianity. Christianity was too dangerous to their regime
because Christianity fundamentally preaches that humans are ultimately only governed by God's word and not The State's as
Russia was trying to tell people,

The problem with creationism is that it is based on faith, and the vast majority of the atheistic evolutionists want to convince those with faith that they are wrong. Why is it so
important to them? I don't know, maybe they're just upset that we who believe have something to reassure and support us beyond life. Maybe they view people who believe as
the last vestige that would say they're wrong and their egos just won't allow that, they HAVE to be right as a matter of principle for them.
What I find most amusing in these arguments is that evolution is being taken on faith, as well. "Well I read that they found these bones, so it's gotta be true!" Why? Mistakes
are made in scientific discovery and research all the time, why would the field of evolution be any different? But because there's something physical, it makes them feel better. It
can be perceived by human senses and therefore is good. Any loose linked theory will do because here is something solid, physical.

<< The problem with creationism is that it is based on faith, and the vast majority of the atheistic evolutionists want to convince those with faith that they are wrong. >>

A person can believe in creationism and evolution. I am not totally against the theory of creationism, and am not an atheist. But, I do take issue with creationism based on Genesis.

I wouldn't object to the theory of creationism and religion(s) taught and discussed in public schools, but I would be opposed to having the bible taught in school as if it was factual, as I think that the American public would be opposed to any ONE religion preached in public schools as the only religion.

All religions can't be correct, unless there are many gods. If there is only one god, aren't most of the faithful wrong?

<< Why is it so important to them? >>

I guess you could think that both sides consider this issue important to them? Do you feel that only the creationists can view this topic as important?
