Patrick...

i was well aware of the SPX chart..after all i do read it...<g>

but i was trading stocks within those limits...

from the July highs till right here, the SPX never breached the BRL line you speak off...

if i was trading more of the OEX..what a positional short???

as for stocks...the P&F indicators were in the middle..things were ok to trade on the long side as eveidence buy the sectors that were moving up, as the markets were moving down...

no i feel P&F can confirm week to week....and it did...

all the time the market rallied to new highs, the big indicator was on a sell signal...i was playing the short termers...2-3-4 of those...all of them went down together wed nite...but from much lower levels than last year...

this selloff will be short lived...
and a week or so ago when you mentioned the triple bottom break..THAT was a good signal to short the whole damn thing...

Well Hell Pat.. We got our 1300 and then some.. so where to.
We should bounce but I'm not so sure . even though everything I watch is over sold but not Waaaaaay over sold so there is still room on the down side.. I'll probably sit it out tomorrow.

One of my problems, is I can't quantify anything so I never know where tops or bottoms are.. I think I read somewhere, somebody had a buy signal in at tomorrows lows.. I might agree with that but I won't know for sure where that is, until after the market closes ..

We'll see.. good luck in your picks..
