If so, is this the Samsung phone type/model that has VARL components? At this point, I do not think so. The bidding for that contract wrapped up some time ago, and it is large enough we should have heard something from management - unless VARL earned a small portion. HOWEVER, I have heard rumors that NOKIA has placed large orders for VARL's components for q1 of 2000. If this is what I think, it probably includes broadband handsets* in addition to infrastructure . . . just what we have been waiting for. *Remember the NOKIA/VARL qualification audit a few months back? :-)
