Here's the problem... DWA has the cheap seats...and the PRO seats... we in the cheap seats get upgraded info on these indexs once a week.. BUT-----there are internal numbers updated daily...i can usually see these numbers..but don't get the final result till Wed.. as for the NYSE...they use it, like this... this index is a percentage of stocks on buy and sell signals...it continuosly gets updated each day..when more sells are shown we usually are moving lower...and visa versa.. however...the Bullish Percent of this index is the key... if you look at a horizontal football field...with the 50% yard line as the middle..and one end zone at 30% to the left, or the oversold side, and the other side at the 70% level, the overbought side....we can then begin to interpret all these indicators..as to what they mean... as well...each sector has it's own BP too...so we buy the dips below 30% on the indicators AND the sectors...if the markets is tanking, and the NYSEBP is rolling down hill, like it is..when it gets close to 30%, we begin to look at those sectors, in good RS, that could reverse up WITH the markets... when they turn from these oversold levels, they usually are good for a major upside move..as evidenced by the semi sector from early this year... anyway...as a PRO user, like brokerage houses, and money managers etc...they pay big dollars for a very exhaustive service...it offers a myriad of advice on stocks, commodities, markets, futures of all types..etc etc..and options too..on everything... if we decide to open shop on wall st... like in a hedge fund??? with a few of the guys...and girls<g>... we would want to have this info... it's not stodgy at all...and TD is the brains, and guiding light of this co...World wide attention is coming from his books and apperances on CNBC..as well as the thread.. heck i've pushed many many people to embrace this TA... it's great if you practice it religously... my problem is i "got none".... good luck in the contest..i'm passing for this one... see ya in the am....rest up...K?
