Mark,
You can see as well as the next person, that Barry cares little for serious anwers, can't you?

Steve is not avoiding any question, he answered it very well. Why do you think WE shoud be the ones to tell God what HE should think of sin? Are you prepared to tell God his way?

All unrighteousness is sin. Paul recorded that we as Christians are dead to sin and should no longer live in them. He did not have a smaller to greater list.

Someone has said that ALL SINS would find their root from three basic "heart" problems.
Temporal
Impurity
Bitterness

So accordingly, if that be true, the SEEDS OF SIN---that which can (and often does) show itself in hate, given the right conditions can result in murder, etc.

Keep in mind re. sin---God's standard is holiness---perfection---we don't "think" and interpret like God. We can't because we have an inner nature that is sinful. We don't teach our children to be bad---they already know how to behave that way, even before language comes from their mouth. Put two babies in a crib with one toy and what happens? A full-blown baby bawl and brawl. No---we teach our children to "be good."

Mark,

Avoiding Robert's question....that's silly! How many times do I have to answer it.

But again I will for you.....sin is sin! That's how God looks at it and that's how I try to look at it.....

All sin is as equally as bad as the next. I rather have no one cursing or doing harm to my family. I rather have people not acting sinful at all. If you look at it this way instead of judging sin by the worlds standards, you will be much better off. By ranking sin, you try to rationalize why that little white lie about Santa is OK. Why Clinton having sex with an intern might not be so bad. Why a vigilante killing someone is OK. Why someone preaching to another and convincing them to believe something that will send them to hell is OK. Why killing an innocent child is for the mother and childs own good. Well its not OK. No sin is OK. Ranking them gives you a reason to think hey, I'm not as bad as the next guy. It gives you a feeling of I'm OK. But where's the cut off? Well God's cut off is no sin is OK. Sin is not justifiable, not even one little white lie about Santa to your children! Once you rank them, you will get into trouble.....

No sin my friend is how God wants it. He does not want anyone cursing or murdering/raping, PERIOD. Ranking them is a useless exercise, they are all wrong!

God Bless,
Steve
