<And , if a big loss occured due to such statement made by the CEO in public, the investor should bring this to the court for compensation !!! >
Ed: You are a pathetic "Crybaby". I bet that grin, like the Cat who ate the Canary, is gone from your face now.
My chatroom posted the Ballmer statement moments after it was on the Newswire, I got in my short at 94 5/8.
MSFT might be in the same phase IBM was about 10 years ago when it went from 175 to 40. With 5 billion shares and a little competion now from SUNW, Linux, = Party Over. You don't expect it to go up and split another 8 times do you?
Welcome to September and October, MSFT may be a buy about the middle of October again this year. If you are holding through this turbulance, batten down the hatches and just smile instead of wanting to sue someone because you did not play the game correctly.
