Wow, that is really bad. That means OEM Athlon systems will be in short supply until maybe mid-October.

It is hard to see good in an earthquake. If they can still make the motherboards in a few weeks, it hopefully shouldn't materially effect AMD's Q4.

But this Intel Camino platform fiasco may help alleviate these problems AMD couldn't control, unlike Intel's problems!

Yup, you are right - good and bad. As of this morning, FIC is expecting to lose one week's worth of production - not much more. Not too bad.
