engineer: The BAM/VOD wireless merger seems key vs AT&T. While the lawyers and their ilk (not JGoren) fiddle around with the legal structure, is there anything to prevent technological rationalization and mutually supporting build out on the part of BAM and Airtouch (VOD) and GTE in their individual interest which can get the actual nationwide cellular CDMA system in operation in 6 months or so? Or is that wildly optimistic in your view? Chaz

engineer: I still can't get through my head what the Phone.com (ex Unwired Planet) operating system does. Likewise what does the symbian EPOC operating system do.
