I agree with you. I couldn't wait and bought some ZNLAO's last night at the close.

CNBC just said that both MSDW and Pru said in their mid-day calls that the INTC selloff yesterday was overdone and the news from Taiwan was not nearly as bad as others have estimated. They said they were estimating only a 3-6 week interruption in some supply instead of 1-2 mos others have estimated. Also said that inventory buildups that they had anticipated would occur at the end of the year due to Y2K problems, will not happen.

I wouldn't bet against Dan Niles information.

He's got a Direct Line into Intel's Finance (at a high level) group.

I think the guy has trouble with the information he gets, but that information has proven EXCEPTIONALLY accurate of late.
