<< ATT doesn't have data >>

Thought I would chime here in with a few comments.

T has offered wireless data for over 3 years now, however, their success has been anything but stellar.

On the plus side:

- their Pocket Net service (CDPD) is actually faster than sprints current offering.
- CDPD does not share bandwidth with their TDMA network.

And the drawbacks:

- up until now, their pocket net phones have been the size of bricks with specks to match (They will be offering a new phone from Mitsubishi soon - very comparable with the Neopoint)
- they do not have a nation wide CDPD network ( I forget the actual coverage stats)

One last comment.
T's plans are to bypass GPRS and go straight to EDGE.

Regards,
Robert.
