<<I don't think that the market rocking back and forth today to end with modest declines is bullish. >>
I don't think so either. The DOW theory bear and the S&P 200 DMA breach sell signals ought to weigh-in to some degree. The weekend might help them cogitate over the risk/reward at these levels. Besides, there is a good chance that Summers falters and brings us Fall or THE fall! -g-

Speaking of internuts I conclude from the action on ATON-Ipoed at $19, opened at $45, closed around $70 that speculative fervor has not been washed out entirely. I would also caution all, that the perceived blue chip internuts may well be the last to cave in because they have traditionally( I mean last year) done so well in the 4th quarter and hope springs eternal. I believe that these will be the last holdings that institutional holders will be liquidating.

Bill, I think the perception now is that after the market corrected the FED will not raise rates.

Housing market is cooling of a bit (this also a seasonal factor) and therefore we had the rally in the bond market.

Closing above 115 is very bullish IMHO next stop can be 116:15 to 117
