>WASHINGTON -- Zenith Electronics Corp.'s (ZETHQ) prepackaged Chapter 11 reorganization, which the electronics manufacturer is preparing to whisk through bankruptcy court next week, faces stiff opposition from minority
shareholders.

Zenith's official committee of equity security holders objected to the reorganization plan, the accompanying disclosure statement and the company's retention of financial advisor Peter J. Solomon Co., according to Federal Filings Business News.

However, the objections were almost entirely redacted due to a confidentiality agreement between the equity committee and Zenith.<

>The court approved on an interim basis Zenith's application to employ Solomon on Aug. 25. A final hearing is set for Monday.<
