Whether or not AXC investors are in agreement PR-wise, there
was great rejoicing elsewhere that went unrecognized.
Yes, it was the massive sighs of relief and rejoicing of
iNEXTV's competitors. They knew that AXC had a chance to
"blow them away" (so to speak) last week, but did not.
I doubt that many of them, had they been in AXC's shoes,
would have played last week as AXC did.
Here goes my broken record again - AXC cannot leave plans
cast in stone, but should make adjustments as the opportunity arises. This might be one of EB's biggest faults. And I do give him extreme credit for hiring Hugh -
he should, however have been creative enough to "turn his
people loose" on optimizing the focus placed on him.
For example Carl, yes it is too bad that the launch did not
coincide with HD's leaving 20/20 - But then you get your
creative staff together and address how best to approach the
timing as it exists.........................V
