Laughing now, as I had dinner with a friend last night who took me to Sixth Street. As one walks east, there are so many Indian/Pakistani restaurants that selecting one was really difficult, especially as each of us was familiar with different ones. Some of them even allow you to bring your own wine. Although I normally drink beer with most curries and a rosé (NOT a blush!) with tandoori chicken, he brought a wine that was perfect. And we finished the meal with a single malt that one cannot obtain here in the U.S.; he had brought it back from London just for the occasion. What a lovely continuation of celebrating my birthday!
