Jon, CFP Certified Financial Planner? It takes months (most people it takes years) and over ten courses equivalent to a college degree - you've not dealt with CFP certification in the past obviously and know nothing of the trials one goes through to achieve such. If his designation is indeed Certified Financial Planner, that is, it is an achievement worth bragging about.
