I wonder if Prof. Pedrosky bought into the Java "layup" at $18 CDN However, he's not completely wrong. Cowpland is a real risk, he can break your heart, believe me. JG

At first read, I come away with that being the single most clueless piece of technology journalism I've ever read (objectively). On the second read (yes, it was painful) I come away with why is this publication running an article by an assistant professor of business at the Univ of BC? It's pretty obvious that the answer lies just over the border a few hours back down the highway in Redmond Washington. The writer appeared to have been 'breifed'. His 'viewpoint' had all the key M$ fingerprints all over it. M$ in the past has used business school professors as pawns in FUD spreading. They must be reaching the bottom of the available supply barrel in recruiting teacher's aids. I guess that's all they could put together with The National Post on short notice. This one is particularly obvious and it's a pretty shameful thing for a "National" publication to be doing. It's that their usual style of journalism?
