Taiwan had another 6.8 aftershock tonight. some dead. same spot. it must be remembered that Taiwan is an island 400 miles long and over 200 miles wide. the quake did not occur near the foundaries; it interupted power briefly. compared to a US State, Taiwan would be larger than the State of Minnesota. so if you have an earthquake occuring at one end, it's not going to affect much at the other.
