I did not attack you personally, but I strongly disagreed with your view that the U.S. "provoked" the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I pointed out the aggressive Japanese actions and atrocities (including the horrors of Nanking), and contended that the Japanese needed no provocation to attack anyone.

You are mis-remembering this exchange as one in which I questioned your support for the armed forces. We've never discussed that matter.
