Your dreaming if you think Canadian employees will accept their present compensation in a new company, furthermore I do not care if Canadian goes broke or not Air Canada will continue to grow and prosper. Tell AMR and Onex to take a hike.

And this is supposed to be a good thing? So what you're proposing is a bloated, over-staffed flying tub of lard? I think if you had said -- "the whole is better than the sum of its parts" then I would say you have something to base an argument on, and that is the subject of our debate. Most of us do not believe this will be the case. Most people think that combining these two companies, you will create another mess that will take years to straighten out.

Besides saddling Air Canada with incompetent management, you are dumping a huge debt load on them at a time when costs could be headed higher. This deal should be grounded before it gets off the ground.
