Check out Anand's reviews

Cuontimemine is actually looking kind of good whenever it comes out.

Gotta go for now.http://www.anandtech.com/

Ali, perhaps your bias against Rambus will change once Athlon shows a sizeable performance benefit from RDRAM-based platforms. I already said before that I am very concerned about Athlon running on RDRAM.

Perhaps by then you'll continue to criticize Intel for being so inept at choosing Rambus, while praising AMD for being so smart in doing the same thing a few months later.

Ali, re:<look at lovely applications, famous Photoshop, Netshow, Dragon>

Intel has recoded the inner loops in these applications 15 times for each new Intel CPU/chipset/memory combination.

If Sharky had used the correct version 4.1.5.3.8.2.3.5.9.1b of Photoshop, the i820/PIII600B/128M RDRAM system would have looked really good. ;^)

Ali,

Re: "I could care less if Intel's Idsat is so strong that each particular
gate can switch at 20 GHz ..."

You should care, oh little "screwed driver" ... the "Laugh-a-Long" is AMD's
last hope, or are you going to start HYPE'ing the K8 ?? <ggg>

Make It So,
