I disagree, but then I buy the basic theory behind polling. It is true, though, that factors such as the language in which a question is framed can be decisive, and that frequently people express an opinion that they really have no conviction about. It is also true that polls are often reported badly....Anyway, Gallup says that the presidents position is favored, 53% to 38%, and when it is explicitly linked to bolstering Medicare, the gap is larger, with pro- almost 2/3rds.....
