Those are all good reasons to buy now. I plan to wait a little longer. The chart says this is not the bottom.

The news release says that Veba will preserve and optimize the value of Memc in its divesture of MEMC. So hopefully you are right.

SShuda, if VEBAcan get any price above the recent rights offering it will be "agood price" from a fiduciary point of view". I do not know how you arrive at your "fair valuation" of $1.8 billions, book is around $7 and with about $70 MM shares or so, BV is $.5 Billions. If MEMC could see profits soon, that would be another story, but Taisil will be hit this quarter with at least a 10% under plan (both due to stoppage and inability of end users to take wafers in for a week or two of the quarter). I think that the market reacts appropriately, and if $14 does not hold, we could go and retest prices around book value before long, IMHO.
