THE THERMOS

It was hot.
Muggy.
127 degrees.

EAR NUMBER 7640934023211430234200034999445923054

The English Spot doe had ear number 7650934023211430234200034999445923054. She wore the number with a great deal of pride for no one else in the whole wide world had ear number 7650934023211430234200034999445923054.
She would hop to her master, lower her ear and lick it knowing that her master was watching.
"A one of a kind I am" she seem to say over and over again.
But alas, the dye used for ear number 764093402321143023420034999445923054 began to fade and eventually the proud English Spot doe had pridefully licked away her identity.
