Don: The silence IS deafening. I hope (foolishly, I know) that it means they are onto the problem and will announce the solution and the new roadmap together soon. One announcement, final answer. On track from there. Wishful thinking, maybe.....the other answer is too ugly to consider.

Still, everyone is owed an answer..The OEMs, the investors, the IT managers who almost bought the product.

>>Worse case Intel cut's ties with Rambus and moves on.<<

Way, way, too much money invested in Rambus for this move.

>>What percentage of their business / potential profits are NON-PC related? Anyone!<<

I don't believe anyone has the answer to that question at this time. I do know that we saw many "drip, drips" on companies besides Intel using Rambus technology, and they just keep coming. I bet if we look now we could find a few more. In fact it probably would be in Rambus's best interest to tell us were there technology is being used. Not necessarily the name of the companies, because many companies don't want such information publicly displayed, but just some subtle hints of the types of industry that could use their tech.
