Bill and Gary,
I think most investors buy / sell decisions are made on emotion and intuition from bits and pieces of information and knowledge. FA and TA have little to do with it. They are just rationalizations. I remain with an intermediate term SELL and on a HIGH RISK ALERT.

Get this....at around 3:00 ET I called my broker to vent a bit about how this market wont go in any direction with any conviction and while I was on the phone he got 4 calls from people screaming that they must be in cash by the end of the day. I thought it was odd that they should all be calling during a part of the day when everything seemed to be recovering quite well. Isn't it a contrarian signal when the masses start selling off?? He had told me earlier this month that several of his clients were currently in cash and now....even more. I am lost here. Some of my short positions got stopped out yesterday and most of my longs got stopped out today at losses. It seems that to be a bear in this market you have to put up with unlimited punishment continually just to be on the right side when this thing finally decides to tank. Is there anyone out there feeling the same way?
