Next time I'm in Montreal we will definitely be having some beers. I haven't done the Montreal strip in a while..

Medscape began trading today...(MSCP)

Since the NASDAQ gapped down today and is now down 50 and falling I don't think it was the greatest day to do an IPO.

MSCP was priced at $8 and is at $12 right now.

They offered 6.6 million shares but have 43.5 million common shares outstanding. Their market capital now stands at $550 million.

As I stated yesterday I really don't Medscape is a great comparison to Medsite.com since they really don't sell anything other than advertisting. However Medscape's recent deals with AOL and CBS should increase page hits. Since Medscape sells Medsite.com's products on its page that can only be a good thing when Medsite.com comes out.

By the way...even if Medsite.com's IPO was only $12 (unlikely), JDX would still make a very nice profit on their investment (do the math).

Best Regards
KEITH
